It is my understanding that the Yen carry trade is unwinding which is causing some liquidity problems and putting additional pressure on global markets.

I know I posted something about this a while back.. but I found the article. Dunno who those "large traders" are that are short the Yen, but as of last report, they're still carrying a lot of Yen shorts.
If this is a carry trade induced sell-off, we should know which way the market is headed just by watching the yen on sunday..
