Can somebody remind me what the lock limits are on naz and sp futures

2 min halt on Nasdaq & Russell futures on CME after a 5 % decline. Another 2 min halt after 10 % decline.


The real big circuit breakers relate to declines on the Dow

i was but got stopped out for 10 point loss on spx!

i am going to start posting my thoughts for whether the the mkt will gap up or down for the next day...if you guys do the opposite you will be very very wealthy in a year!!! check that ...in a month!!!

At 5% there is a 2 minute halt. At 10% Ben sends a text message to Goldman... and 10 minutes later announces he thinks a rate cut is a good idea. I'm only half joking!!!!! I might have put CNBC on to watch for it.

greenspan did the same thing in 1998 with the asian contagion sell off!
