There are weekly options available on both oex and spx. ..both expire on the Friday....but does anyone know if they are the same as the monthly options? ie ..Do the spx options expire at the open price on Friday morning and the oex expire with the close?

I dont know about the SPX weeklies bit I trade the OEX weeklies very often. The OEX weeklies expire at the close of trading Friday.

thanks..I have a feeling spx weeky's expire in the morning....but I was more interested in oex anyways.

The last trading day for SPX options is Thursday. I think they expire at the Friday opening prices...

SPX weekly stop trading at close of Thursday (European-style exercise)
OEX weekly stop trading at close of Friday (American-style exercise)
