Our T-4 Turn Indicator went out at 100 which is a Buy signal, I think. The last clear signal was this weekend, and prior to that was last Friday, a Sell. Typically we want to see readings above 80 or higher before we look for worthwhile turns. This indicator doesn't catch every top and bottom, but it is a great "Heads up!" indicator.

And look at the Relative VIX. That's a Buy too.

:) FWIW, I have a ST buy on SPX & SLV B) mss ps: the VIX needs to turn to seal a trend change IMO.

Since VIX was mentioned here...something to watch for over the next several months....it's quite possible that VIX could have a generally upward trend while price continues to rise. I don't think the vix will get much below 15ish for a long , long while.

Am using the VXO because it has a very long history data base. But close enough for gov. work.

Just my experience in dealing with this thing, suggests that till the RED line is broken to the up side we got lots of chop left.

It looks like it chose to fix the intraday overbought, the daily momentum is still down, but turning, it will take time to turn around the ship...

Thanks MSS, My spx:vix system... when INDU price hits the lower BB look for a turn up from below the BB on SPX:VIX (yesterday was the first day this system could issue a buy) I would also like to see a little more of a reversal in VIX...
