I don't think intermediate to long term forecasting was that hard actually until a few weeks ago, he just needed to look at the money growth, the internals and leadership...

The Russell Letter is very entertaining to read, but boy...what a BLACK EYE he turned out to be for "Dow Theory" from the May, 2003 buy signal forward...no sell signal given yet in 4 years.
I just goes to show...nobody KNOWS! NOBODY knows!!...except for Charlton Heston, of course..."Soylent Green is...PEOPLE!"
