Remember Oct 19, 1987 when the DOW crashed?
They couldn't mention Da_Cheif enough.

Thanks for posting that! That was fun to watch! Bill Griffith looks a lot like Bill Gross in some of that!

I like the 1987 crash quote from Ed Hart: "The Central Banks will be getting together on this. Margin calls are going out by telegraph rather than mail grams." I notice that the market closed at 5ET back then.

the thing that strikes me is his bounce calls last week were WRONG. cut through like butter. time to stand aside.

Nothing wrong with making calls for a bounce. Many good traders here have. Just know when you are wrong. Use stops. Stay alive.

no my point was he's good. No doubt about it. He got smashed and stopped. So what. The "so what" is that technicals failed. Across the globe. News or something out there is changing the playing field. There's a monster out there.
