Many of the internal studies that I like have us at extremes associated with lows, or are zoned. Yet the noise is so bearish.
I am once again reminded of Joe Granville's admonition: "News is for chumps."

On this chart, the cci has put in an uncharacteristic complex top, so things are - or have been - a tad different this time.

You said the noise is bearish....yet every John, Harry, Joe and George is looking for a bottom....How many posts show the word bottom?......Oscillators are great in a sideways and slow trending market.....Useless in a emotion market.....After a few years of bull market, they don't know what a bear market looks like....
