....and, yes, the knowledge came through diligent fundamental investigation by a number of good blogs that I follow. Mish was one of them.

So you think they are going to "Buy the News"...
Here is the news.. BSC is sacking one of their top guys.. Big change in management. Sometimes stocks react very favorably to the news of top management changes....

Ultimately I think BSC will be bought out. Probably in not too distant future.

I don't think the stock is very expensive. The biggest fear is they are losing a lot of business now. And of course all this negative publicity now. Otherwise it doesn't look particulary expensive, though I didn't look at their financials. At first glance it looks like its trading at 1.3 times book, and has more cash then debt, but as I said, I didn't dig.

The time to learn about their troubles was much earlier:

So ... are you buying BSC here, Greenie ?
Im long LEH 65 calls because I think $XBD will bounce here, but there's no way I'd buy Da Bear.
BSC = next stop 70's.

I have a question: Can diligent fundamental investigation be bullish? Or is it bearish only?
Denleo
Ask your hedge fund buddies. That's how they do it - bearish or bullish they don't care. It's all he said... that she said... that so and so vendor/customer/supplier said... stuff anyway, most of it. TA is considered hogwash.
