thanks ogm, that actually makes a lot of sense.

But why does the reverse of that not work though? A very high TRIN on a huge down day usually means the selling is done....

yeah the P/C is certainly amusing...


High TRIN day after an uptrend many times means initiation of a downside move. Look at 7/20 for example. The recent one. High TRIN day like we had FRiday, after extended downtrend, many times means a washout. Its all relative.

The same as a couple very low TRIN's during extended uptrend may mean overbought.

IYB has the best TRIN system, which is a part of his larger system.
