A lot of comparison has been made about the 1998vs2007. Here is a graph of daily DJI for 1998 and 2007 both rebased at January. The way I see it is that we have already seen the 14/08/1998 and the 18/08/1998. If I am right then we just have 1-2 days of a minor pullback before the big drop. That said, only if the situation is similar to 1998. Any thoughts pls?

or we could just be at the beginning of the 1998 decline and thus far we are now entering the beginning of Aug 1998.

Instead of 1998, do you have data to compare to the panic of 1907?
