mm -- you should downsize your pictures to make them net friendly. irfanview is great free software for viewing and quick editing.

Where was this?
My "backyard"
Casco Bay off the coast off Maine, north of Portland. It is unbelievably beautiful here....you can hone in via Google Maps/Google Earth. Head north from Portland harbor and you run into this picture perfect collection of small islands and channels, with excellent kayaking and even better sailing. We sailed here for 20 years, but are taking a break and spending more time in the kayaks.
It's always beautiful, but today was a rare combination of warm and lovely. We're still awake, out in the tent and its 2 AM (we stayed up to watch the Perseid Meteor shower... still going on)

What do you guys do up there in the summer?
Well, if it comes on a weekend, we go to the beach.

Well he was at the beach too
Nice stuff MM, I try to go to the beach over the weekends more often, but it is not that fun to go alone, we had a wild beach volleyball tournament last weekend. I usually go to bicycle, sometimes to go to surf...
I will be leaving next week for my mediterranean vacation and join to the rest of my family there. I was hoping to go earlier, but there was too much work at the studio this summer, then the whole markets went crazy...

There is not a better place in the world than the Mediterranean, especially south of France
and Isle of Capri.
