SP500 will below 1374 by the end of Sep. I do not have a chart to prove it since I am fundamental investor and know nothing about TA, but I know even financial market can be stabilized in few month, it will still affect lending practice for years to come. Current economy is build on top of borrowing (consumer and institution), when easy money dry up, we will be in trouble. My guess is, consumer spending will drag our economy to recession, related financial data may star to show up as earlier as one or two month from now.

What are you gonna do if 1374 is taken out? Eat your hat? Run naked in Central Park? Donate $1000 to this site?
are you asking me or "da cheif"?
I'm already on record re: the hats. As for running naked in Central Park, did my share of that in the sixties, swimming in the boat pond and getting naked in the 72nd street fountain. I don't look too bad for an old "sixities" guy, but it might not be the same this time around.
