How did he afford all of the paint ?
That would be a great commercial for Benjamin Moore or Sherwin Williams.

Yes, he's an amazing character! Some would call him crazy, but I think his singular vision is admirable. He was featured on the Discovery channel, 9 years ago. Visitors often bring him paint, but I don't know how he's managed to stay out there for THAT long.
It's a HARSH environment! Can't get more sincere, than this old man.
And the very end is appropriate -
"The voice of one, crying in the wilderness ... prepare ye a way ... " LOVE IT!!
