This is not an uptrending market. That was 2006 July to June 2007, one of the nicest persistent trends to ride, with minimal risk, when many were out of the market calling it a parabola. Do you see frequent 15-20 point gap-downs on SPX in an uptrending market ? - Heck no !
This is not a downtrending market. That was between July and Aug 16.
This is not a range bound market. It is not constrained by any ranges so far.
It is a VOLATILE market, which is all over the place.
If you are a bull, start a prayer "Oh god, please let the market close above ES 1484". If not, this will be the 7th consecutive close below the weekly 34 ema. And if we close at the lows of the day, it will be a nasty shooting star candle on the weekly ES. If bulls are to take control of this market, "Today is the day".
And what scares the Sh^t outta me is that every perma bear, there were last year, are now bull calves.
