The yen is through the roof and traded into 52wk high territory earlier. My guess is the markets won't like this much tomorrow.

You know I suspect that a lot of relationships are going to be broken in the next few months... The way I see things is that we're in the middle of a market reversal, and not just in equities, if there were ever a time in these elastic relationships for them to break down or reverse, this is it. I highly recommend keeping an open mind.... and make these relationships prove themselves by performance rather than reputation.

Looks like Black Hawk Ben and the Fed get to pop another bubble, first housing, now the carry trade. Cutting the Fed funds rate will really stick the knife in good. If you don't have recessions to wash away the trash, it just piles up until it falls over.
