If you are a bear the best setup (now that the light volume on the daily is a lock) is to see it reverse, barely tick over the highs(Friday) and then pullback to where it opened by the close...or in your wildest of dreams to close on the lows...

Well when it crosses over Friday's high it becomes an upthrust... I think that 2607 (7/31 2.7B) volume high would frame it...

They just grazed my trailing stop by 0.3 <_< I'm just going to accumulate straddles, set stops on both sides, and watch the action from the sidelines...

Firstly, there's no fishhook on the NYSE Mcsum.

Although your question is a bit tongue-in-cheek, i will still reply :D Well nobody needs to tell you that, it's commonsense that a 4-day consolidation range will not be taken out ahead of an important event like Fed meeting on some pathetically low volume day like today. Even if the resolution were to be bullish, they would park the prices right near creek.

There is no fish hook yet but there may be one well underway... I feel it !

BTW you are right about the range stuff... breakout is unlikely but all i need is a little tag, peek or poke to close my butterfly option spreads. Once I close, I spread more in all directions for tomorrow... gotta be a big move
