You need an edge to trade the Fed days...

That edge is the hotline to the Fed. Otherwise, it's better to be a spectator and preserve your capital. There's plenty of opportunities in the market everyday. Why waste money where you have zero edge ?

As a spectator, i can't resist saying WOW :D Watta casino :lol:

These investment bankers lost their shirts and need help from the FED. Without the bankers, would there be a FED!!

i went long the nqs at 2016 right before the announcement and then closed them because if i wanted to gamble i would have hit the strip and atleast get a free drink...i wish i would have kept them on!!!

i wish i would have kept them on!!!


And just when you get smart to hold it into the meeting, they whack you so hard that you will remember it for the next few meetings. Been there....Done that....Will not do it again. It takes 2-3 days of focussed trading to take 30 NQ points from the market, rather than gamble on a day where the edge is completely skewed towards the big money.
