I hate day like this. When the market is right on target, when volatility is still high, but declining, when only few hours left to expiration.... I would better do some stuff otside the house on a day like this. I used to wash my cars on a backyard in California. Really love this job. Just turn the music on, and wash... wash.... wash.... People in Moscow would not understand if you wash the car by yourself. "Hey pal, shame on you! Take $10 and go to the carwash."

Only thing you can do these days is SELLING A BIT PREMIUM left in ATM strikes, or buy some puts on oversold sectors.

Here's a sample of today's trading in options. My long time friend XAU puts (another $1 per contract profit), and calendar call spread on QQQ (I expect 50th strike selling Sept calls at 50.40).

Yuri - too bad you are so far away...you could buy my Subaru I advertised for sale yesterday...good winter car that has all-wheel drive, heated mirrors, heated seats, etc.

Hey Hike,

The point is.... as Chinese people say, "be afraid of your dreams, they could happen". The happyness is in a process. Washing the cars or trading the stocks are quite the same process. If you get all what you want (including a car you dream of), or if the market gets to the targets you believed... it not makes you happy. Quite opposite.

It's like when you get "THIS", you want to sleep, while she needs more. Yeah, the happines was before, "IN THERE".
