You gotta love this Buffet guy. On one hand, he warns of derivatives akin to nuclear bombs (and the perma bear clowns quote him :D ). Then he makes a value buy on a derivatives monster that Bear sterns is. Smart guy !

May I point out that the report is that Buffet is "considering" a stake, not that he has taken one.

True.

Now someone there is saying its not Buffet at all.

Well, doesn't matter to me.. whatever excuse is to jam the market higher.. works for me :)

DOW will have the highest close since the rate cut today.

Value Play, yeah, look where Moody's got him in the past 5 months. As far as I know he still holds a position in this. I remember he had a big position in USAIR until it was about $6 share 15 years ago. :P

It's a "value trap"!

Genius!

Actually, not kidding, I think that there are bodies buried there and I'd not be investing there. Too complex.

But what do I know!

I'm trying to ignore it so I don't sell it too soon. The play is supposed to give me lots of dividends... ;) Mark

I hope you didn't get my tongue-in-cheek wrong. I mean't you must be feeling like a moron cuz now you are sitting on profits + awaiting dividends.
