What does everyone think about a "Best Stock Pick" board? It would be great if we had a separate board to share long and short ideas with each other IMHO. Perhaps some caveats including: 1. Disclosure (long or short) 2. Include charts/reasoning/catalysts/time frame/funnymentals/industry group/etc 3. Additional thoughts would include price of said pick at 'publishing' it or some sort of pick track record. Note whould only include this one (#3) if it wasn't to difficult or cumbersome to track. Just an idea to throw around...

:) That is what is/has been done on the SWING WAVES BOARD. What is posted depends on what the markets are doing. There are periods when stock after stock is posted with only weekend analysis of markets and then other times all market and few stocks. Some very good analysis is presented by a group of posters. mss

Let's give this some thought. As scott said, some of this already happens on SwingWaves! Then again, it might be nice to have a board for picks with a specified format. Like stock, L/S, entry area, stop if any, link to the profile, chart and commentary. Then it would be easy to track and easy for folks to quickly peruse when looking for a new idea. I'm interested in hearing thoughts. Mark

I know I would pay more attention to the individual with track record here known to me...so what is most efficient for my actual use is if folks start a blog at TT so I can intraday spot what they are interested in...if it is not efficient for me, I am not likely to use it.

It would be interesting to do a dedicated picks board with a tracking system. I really didn't realize that was the purpose for Swing Waves--thought it was some type of Elliot Waves thing or something similar. There are several people on here that have done very well with sharing picks and it would be great to have a forum dedicated only to stock picks.

Why pick stocks that don't outperform Ultafunds/Rydex 2x funds or may be YM?
