FLS manufactures industrial pumps / valves both commercial and nuclear, has a global presence and would benefit from a lower US dollar.

CC...I said many mos. ago here at this FF board that BIDU and YZC were my two favorite picks for a play on the Chinese sector...much volatility ahead in 5 years, but these two reamain among my top picks.

BIDU has to compete with GOOG and others for Chinese market share.

YZC has more risk than BIDU perhaps, cause coal may not going to always be as large fuel requirement in Asia, as more nuclear reactors come on line.

http://stockcharts.c...llery.html?bidu

http://stockcharts.c...allery.html?yzc

there is a record here at FF of these picks before the recent run in these names.

you can pick a much less volatile set of stocks than anything in the Chinese market....I just like both of these if you are DEMANDING a pick based on 5-yr trade. I would pick CSCO, but not sure about the 5-year horizon compared to these other two.

C.C. Being a closet gold bug I'd pick GLD for a 5 year hold. Nothing maintains its value like gold. Best to you

A condo (less maintenance than a house) to be bought near the end of winter season but before spring break. Reason: prices are lower and population is growing.

BIDU - Potentially huge Internet population growth in China. Need to keep a close eye on its market share though. Good to know that Hiker thinks the same. :)
