Hi,
I'm looking for an indicator like OBV, which instead of defining up days as closing price higher than yesterday's closing price, defines an up day as closing price higher than opening price
we often see gap ups, where it can be misleading to define it the day as an up day
Thanks!
indicator question

Is this something you want to program into custom software using your own data download or are you looking for an existing indicator you can use over the internet?
are you aware of Chaikins Volume? It's not exactly what you want but it is similar, a different way to look at volume.

I was thinking of an existing indicator
I just couldn't remember the name, but chaikins volume fits perfectly - thanks!
