NSE in India is more broadbased, just like the NYSE in U.S. So it's only fair to compare the NSE A/D line to NYSE A/D line. Nasdaq is a sector.


Hmm I can show you one just as gross as that one on NYSE going into 2000 top... but I'm sure you're aware of that.

I know what you mean when you point it out as a real sign of weakness, but the exact point where it collapses on itself.. I mean its probably a good precursor and all, but trying to pick a top based on just cumulative a-d is suicide sometimes.

I completely agree. I am certainly not trying to pick a top here and i am not that brave. This can go on for months. I am just showing the warning signs.

Nav, I took one look at that A/D line chart vs. the NSE and I said "1987". Anybody have the time to whip up that chart for comparison? Mark
