We got another selling panic day. Today's selloff is similar to a pattern of other periods immediately preceding major bear markets----that is, several panic selloff days early during the year, followed by a panic selloff late in the year for a total of at least 3: today is 4th such a day. Major bear markets are those that decline at least 25%

Is there a way to look at the posts here from early 2000 through March of 2003? I'm curious if there are similarities.

We are in a transition to a major bear market. The volatility will probably stay this way for 2 years, before there is a major cyclical decline into 2011-2012, fwiw...
