Is the dollar rallying because it has found a bottom short-term or because it does not expect anymore rate cuts until end of the year? Don't know much about how to trade currencies but know it is highly news sensitive.

Econ stronger than expected and no more rate cuts. Enough to encourage some profit taking I would think.

It means market is expecting no more rate cuts.Is the dollar rallying because it has found a bottom short-term or because it does not expect anymore rate cuts until end of the year? Don't know much about how to trade currencies but know it is highly news sensitive.
