if oex gets a daily close south of 670...odds are good. I figure that would be south of 1440/45 on spx.

Possibly.
1360 is 33 EMA on monthly chart, hasn't been retested in a while. I think thats were we are heading.
55 EMA is 1291. Worst case scenario is there, IMO. But we should rally strongly there. Maybe even to new highs by the end of 2008-2009 or so.
Just guessing for now.
I think its going to be a very fast decline, though. Fast but painful. So buckle up. Its getting bumpy.
