Not what you'd expect, but we saw this trend this summer, just before the bottom dropped out.

Any reason not to expect the same?

The financials are still leading to the downside, we'll see whether they've been discounted enough. There are a lot of warning signals, but if the indices turn around from here, this divergence will look more bullish than bearish for the ST... I expect a top later in Nov or early Dec...
