Short 1373 since yesterday holding overnight, got a VST/ST sell on wednesdays close but the market did'nt break, just sideways chopping, got yet another sell at yesterdays close, we'll see if the SP will break this time.

Same here. I had a sell on Wed and then i got a continuation sell yesterday. We'll see how it goes. It's just another trade.

Some people trade for percentage and bragging rights and some trade for income of which I am the later. Percentage gains are not the same as raw dollars though I doubt some would see it that way.
$600???? That is less than an hours profit for a 8-10M deep in the money option trade.

I guess he meant $100k... In any case, the real measure would be the %-gains, sharpe while doing that and your capacity, meaning how much you can move at once with your model. Without the appropriate capacity, every system is destined to fail eventually. You need to find systems with high capacity, at least 5-10 times more than your capital, to make money consistently... None of these are easy and the discussion here is a pissing contest and really dumb.
