Bill Clinton's Buddy Terry McAuliffe’s GreenTech investigated by SECThe Evolution of a Crony Capitalist

The agency is investigating the company’s alleged claims that it “guarantees returns” to the investors.
GreenTech reportedly also enticed investors with a federal program that allows foreigners to gain special U.S. residency visas when a minimum of $500,000 is contributed to a U.S. company. The Post notes that Gulf Coast Funds, run by Hillary Clinton’s brother Anthony Rodham, seeks investors for GreenTech and arranges the visas.

Al Gore:
The hurricane scale used to be 1-5 and now they’re adding a 6. The fingerprint of man-made global warming is all over these storms and extreme weather events.
But Gore’s statement about this new breed of hurricanes is patently false. There’s no new hurricane category in the works.

President Obama tried the other day to elbow Al aside to lead with his assertion that hurricanes are getting worse and that only he has the power to put them in their place. Hurricanes are actually getting not worse, but fewer. Only three major hurricanes have made landfall so far in Mr. Obama’s presidency. Grover Cleveland, who was president between 1885 and 1889, entertained 26 major hurricanes during his presidency, and that was before global warning was invented.
That’s too bad, because when science and scientists one day discover a genuine crisis, nobody will listen. We’re up to our ears already in snake oil.
PS:
Fewer tornadoes have struck the United States during the past 12 months than in any other 12-month period in U.S. history, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration reports.
The past 12 months not only broke the previous record, it blew the old record away. During the past 12 months, merely 197 tornadoes struck the United States. Prior to this past year, the fewest tornadoes striking the United States during a 12-month period occurred from June 1991 through July 1992, when 247 tornadoes occurred.
The new tornado record is particularly noteworthy because of recent advances in tornado detection technology.
197 tornadoes – starting in May 2012
247 tornadoes – starting in June 1991
270 tornadoes – starting in November 1986
289 tornadoes – starting in December 2001
298 tornadoes – starting in June 2000

Al Gore sells Current TV to Al Jazeera & pockets 100 million dollars
The oil money comes from the government of Qatar
Former U.S. Vice President Al Gore sued Al Jazeera, claiming the satellite news provider owned by the Qatari royal family owes him and a partner $65 million from a deal to buy his network, Current TV.
Gore and partners that included Hyatt, founder of Hyatt Legal Services, Los Angeles billionaire Ron Burkle and money manager Richard Blum bought Current’s predecessor company for $70 million in 2004.
Current failed to make much of an impact at all while Gore was paying himself $1.2 million a year in salary and bonuses, according to 2008 Securities and Exchange Commission documents filed as part of a proposed public offering

Al Gore: Obama's Arctic drilling plan 'is insane'Keith Olbermann: Al Gore Is a “Clod”
When you’re working for somebody whom you admired politically, who turns out to be a clod, the scales fall from your eyes. Sorry. Al underdelivered. I mean that’s just simply the case. I don’t want to dwell on it, but it’s true.
Former Vice President Al Gore offered up some rare criticism of President Barack Obama’s environmental policy in a recent interview, calling for a ban on all Arctic drilling and blasting the administration’s decision to allow Royal Dutch Shell to begin sinking exploratory wells in the oil-rich Chukchi Sea in the Arctic as “insane.”

dio - what a spiel - but you know you are the racist - old white guys - it is bigoted even if you mean it as a metaphor or something... politics is not about intelligence or vision it is about sales - which is what just about everything is about these days - and the younger folks seem even more into sales/celebrity than their forebears - is that a good thing???
