I exited my trades today, after the market rolled over. Very small gains. I bought a very small long term position in my trading account. An unusual purchase for that account, but sometimes it's nice to take a break. Going into watch mode.

Fantastic dip to buy, and improve my short position, now averaging 3705
however, an acceleration of selling, into the close and follow thru selling seals the December high
Weekly job number trend awaited
3000 US daily Covid deaths.
UK Brexit uncertainty.
hype over stimulus fading.
where is the good news to squeeze this market higher?

A possible fly in the bullish ointment... Europe's bellwether, the DAX, has not yet confirmed the new ATHs in the US indices, and if this fractal interpretation is correct, another leg down is a reasonable assumption:
