Next, you remove all but a select set of harmonics, and add a few that may or may not be present, as an overlay. In doing so you end up areas that repeat in their overlay pattern (picture a piece of lace ribbon). There are very specific areas that tend to fall very tightly the turns (e.g. top or bottom of a cycle). Because the pattern repeats, it's possible to use this pattern to forecast up to two cycle turns forward with high accuracy (exactly how much, I won't know until I've done a lot more back testing).

I think this is very much like what i got going. 2 Cycle turns forward with high accuracy is right on the head. There are some accuracy performance graphs on a few of the charts i posted also.

I love the harmonic vibratory stuff :) , if you can break the harmonics down effectively thats one powerful tool.

Did i tell you i worked with Larry Pessavento too from Berkshire Hathaway. He and Mr. Gilmore (they're good friends, never met him but studied allot of his work) are some quality analysts. Larry was actually with Milken when he got busted ( ;

Larry mentors many traders (Hes the Harmonic man).

Its a small world after all.

Cycles1

Cycles2

DollarCycles

Cycles3

I'm unable to access any of those links.

I think if you can crack the dollar then gold is an easy game.

Amen.

All in all you can basicly break down every market into 3's and 5's (and sometimes 6's if its a vvvery strong trending market) .

I tend to view almost everything as 5:3, 7, and 9. Sometimes 8 and 12 in certain circumstances. 6 is half of 12 and 3 is half of 6...

Yes it is but you've certainly been around a lot further than I. I've only been studying markets for about 3 years from a TA perspective. I did own a coin and bullion business from '98 through '02, but there was little speculation in that - it was all about spreads.

Try these, they're in the same order as i posted them before (like it matters.

Remeber 3's (corrective) and 5's (impulsive)

Much better - I see what you mean about the buck ;)

That's an interesting forum - I'll have to do more reading there. Thanks for the pointer!

Here's the same cyclical fourier algorithm applied to the yen. It doesn't matter what the market only that it has good volume. Remember this is only a time analysis, price here doesn't matter...,thats what i love so much about it.

Works even better on the S&P and Nasdaq but the leverage in those markets isn't nearly the 200:1 you get from the Cross Rates (FOREX).

I'll shut up now, see what happens when you have nothing better to do on the weekends ( :

Yup, right on course! I'm pleased and ready to sell at 411. Here's crosspost from the stool:

Fibs between the Jan high of 431.50 and April low of 377 are:

38.2% 398.35
50.0% 404.90
61.8% 411.58

(I do them like that because it's a REtrace - should I flip that?)

I'd sell between 404 and 411.

... blah blah blah ...

Have you checked the gold section at CS? The IDS threads can get overheated and ya - we're a warped bunch in general, but there's still some good brains left at CS. Dwindling it seems of late, however, hence my increased posting more elsewhere recently.
