I'm speechless at the human tragedy.
Are we just microbes on the cooled dross of a molten ball flung through the universe.

We all start from somewhere!

They'll likely plow into europe and USA.

Obviously, US and Europe being safer than Japan, but I highly doubt that the Western banking which was exposed to the layers upon layers of leveraged Japanese debt is any safer. Japan is a major exporter, even though it has not been growing strongly. There is a lot banking assets exposed to Japan, also the local businesses importing from Japan...

NKD+M1 on CME looks pretty oversold actually, honestly ready to crash if this goes any further. I think the rest of the world markets will get their fair share rather than going up. Remember all markets are only 4-5% off from being priced for perfection (full 2011 earnings)! Would you bid up anything for perfection at this juncture? I would not...

The economies were not looking great without the funny money before the Japanese tragedy.

Nope, kicking back in the living room watching CNBC World Channel... CNN, Bloomie.

Channel surfing, looking at some of these videos...

From what I've seen so far, it looks like an A-Bomb hit.

Complete with self induced radiation hazards

They just had another explosion but the government says no additional hazard.

Here's the video:
