Well, it looks like even the near-brainless have signed on -

http://www.washingto...climate-change/

Climate change "is not a hoax," according to the U.S. Senate, which voted 98 to 1 in favor of an amendment stating as much Wednesday.

Is there hope now for the full-brainless?

Doubtful. More likely we'll get a shift to the issue of whether its just cyclical or man-made for a few days or maybe a couple of weeks, then it will be back to weather reports again.

2014 was not the hottest year on record, so why did NASA say it was?

The two main official records of world temperatures measured by satellites, as published by the RSS (Remote Sensing Systems) and the University of Alabama, Huntsville (UAH), are much more comprehensive than the surface records.

Both RSS and UAH agree that 2014 ranked as the sixth hottest in the past 18 years, and that there has been no upward trend in world temperatures since 1997.

If the statement “2014 was the hottest year on record” is untrue – and demonstrably untrue – then why are so many people who ought to know better continuing to claim otherwise?

The answer, as often where outbreaks of mass hysteria are concerned, can be found in Gustave Le Bon’s 1895 masterpiece translated in English under the title "The Crowd: A Study Of The Popular Mind."

Repetition is the most important weapon in the demagogue’s armory:

"It was Napoleon, I believe, who said that there is only one figure in rhetoric of serious importance, repetition. The thing affirmed comes by repetition to fix itself in the mind in such a way that it is accepted as a demonstrated truth."

Global Warming means the "END OF SNOW!"
OK. You got that one wrong too.
Admit it.
You models are all wrong because they are biased.
Admit it.
Your data is wrong because it is manipulated.
Admit it.
Climate Change has been occurring since day one.
Admit it.
The sky is not falling.
Admit it.

1888 Global Warming Climate/Change/Chaos...before autos and fracking...no doubt horse farts and firewood caused it.

Blizzard of 1888: How 1 storm changed New York City forever

“The Great White Hurricane,” as the storm was nicknamed, according to NYCsubway.org. Winds surpassing 80 mph knocked over electrical wires, starting fires that caused an estimated $25 million worth of property damage. Above-ground telephone and telegraph wires were also downed, cutting off communication to other cities. And all transportation was halted.

Speaking of Brainless...

Mayor Thanks Sharpton for 'Climate Change' Work...

I think that you and the world-renowned Climatologist, Reverend Al are finally catching on.
The climate has been changing since day one.
Before man ever walked the earth.
Only the brainless would deny that reality.
The brainless would also ignore historical truth.
The late 1800's saw California's worst RECORDED drought as well as New York's "Great White Hurricane" of 1888.
But it doesn't require much thinking to realize the likelyhood that there have been worse.
Those with brains say that the earth and it's climate are over 200 years old...maybe even older.

Who is really behind the anti-capitalist green fraud?
It would be very eye opening to know the complete list...besides Soros.

REVEALED: Russian oil company tied to U.S. 'green' effort...
A shadowy Bermudan company that has funneled tens of millions of dollars to anti-fracking environmentalist groups in the United States is run by executives with deep ties to Russian oil interests and offshore money laundering schemes involving members of President Vladimir Putin’s inner circle.
No one knows where that firm’s money comes from. Its only publicly documented activities have been transfers of $23 million to U.S. environmentalist groups that push policies that would hamstring surging American oil and gas production, which has hurt Russia’s energy-reliant economy.

Joseph Goebbels wrote the following paragraph about "The Big Lie" in an article dated 12 January 1941:
"The essential English leadership secret does not depend on particular intelligence. Rather, it depends on a remarkably stupid thick-headedness. The English follow the principle that when one lies, one should lie big, and stick to it. They keep up their lies, even at the risk of looking ridiculous."

Prof claims used 'mass hypnosis' to motivate public to believe in 'global warming'...

Poll Shows Giant Gap Between What Public, Scientists Think...

The problem is that only a minority is falling for the Big Lie.
NOAA says its the warmest year ever, by 1/100th degree (with a margin of error of +/-50/100ths!), and blithely ignored the fact that the WORLD AVERAGE temperature hasn't really changed for 20 years, refuting their models. They also failed to mention that the "WORLD AVERAGE" is actually not real, since they apply computer corrections that appear to systematically increase the number! And a growing number of scientists cite bias in the measurements towards locations that ARE being warmed by human activity, such as concrete parking lots.

Even though the sky failed to fall again, at least chicken little had another exciting day in his echo chamber.

The 'Historic' Blizzard of 2015 Ranked #41....

The ranking is based upon societal impacts, so if the worst storm on Earth in the last 10,000 years hit where no one lived, it would not even rank.
So, the NESIS scale for Northeast snowstorms isn’t well suited for talking about climate change. It’s not clear that more snowstorms in recent decades aren’t just from a slight shift in the storm track bringing Northwest Atlantic winter storms (of which there are many…Greenland routinely gets clobbered) closer to New England.

For the near-moronic -

So NOAA’s surface temperature record shows 2014 likely to be the warmest year by a hair, while the UAH satellite record shows 2014 trailing 1998 and 2010 by a healthy margin. Why the differences? It’s important to remember that these datasets are measuring different things (surface versus lower troposphere temperatures) using different methods (read more here) – so we shouldn’t expect an exact match.

Nevertheless, both temperature datasets clearly show the concentration of the warmest years occurring after 2000 (see the dotted lines in the UAH satellite record chart and the red lines in the NOAA surface record chart).

Furthermore, despite differences in which year is “warmest”, the trends computed in these two datasets since 1979 are very similar. NOAA shows the Earth warming at a rate of about 0.27F per decade, while the UAH satellite record shows a warming rate of about 0.25F per decade.

What these charts collectively show is that the warmest years on record are fairly tightly packed together and that different analyses give different results – all of which are also sensitive to measurement error. Thus, when looking at temperature charts, it’s a lot more meaningful to look at tendencies and trends rather than to focus on individual years.
