This weekend I snooped around a CNG refueling station.
One lady got $3 @ $1.11 a gallon.
Another guy "filled up" for $5.
(Most CNG tanks are small and expensive at 3,500 psi rating; a 13 gal tank is $2,000!)
Another guy told me he just drove his truck round trip to Kansas City (500 miles) for $45.
It sure is looking more interesting, especially as a couple of new filling stations have been opened recently.
It's $1.11 at Okla. Natural Gas company's 3 stations.
$1.49 at several privately owned.
I dropped $6,000 last year into Saudi gasoline. <_<
Would have been well under $3,000 with CNG.

As for UNG, it has risen the most in years on big volume, but right into resistance with MF very extended.
If I was Jack Chan, I would have bought UNG under $13 at the trend line break/MACD cross in late April.
Now it should either consolidate or drop.
