When they fail to test on lighter volume and then rocket back up - that is usually a distribution signal. (which is what happened today)

How is Gold coming down to within a couple of points on lighter volume from last June's low "failing to test"?

To me it looks like a classic bottom doji on a W bottom has formed, which is what Eric Hadik has been expecting and what my oscillator on silver was projecting since last fall.

Test means match the price, that didn't happen.

You can have a "null test" which means break the previous volume without a test.

That didn't happen either.

Believe whatever you want to believe.

I could care.

I could show this chart to an 8 year old and he could quickly identify where this thing is going.

Down on Volume, finishes UNDER PREVIOUS MONTHLY LOW

(unless there's another last minute "miracle" that will get puked up again like last Friday)

Get over it.

You just don't want to acknowledge what is all over this chart.

So FINE.

Well if you could care (less), then that means you care a little....hahahaha

Within a couple of points of last June is close enough, there are all kinds of divergences, including the advance decline in xau.

There are technicians, fundamentalists, traders, investors, etc etc. Funny how depending on one's perspective can see something completely different than another. Personally Ive never been concerned with catching THE bottom, I don't think many of the mill/billionaire investors ever were. When you see a valuable asset on sale you accumulate it. As I look around I'm seeing tremendous value in this sector, couple that with all the other things mentioned already like sentiment, metal at cost of production for miners, etc I'm convinced this is not the time to be trading. Granted my time perspective is longer than 24 hours. Hell I bought a company today for $2/oz Au…just crazy! Think we will someday look back upon this period and think what an opportunity. Happy New Year!!!

highest volume since Sep 18, and look where it is NOW trading and will likely CLOSE - near 18.68, nicely ABOVE the previous closing lows of December and very possibly completing a downside pattern on a "print" basis, looks bullish to me

Silver appears to have found some long term support...
