From 8/7/14 low 1904.78, the SPX has advanced 2.65% in 5 trading days. However, the extra 1% pickup above 1940 over the past 3 days has not been accounted for, as far as short-term T-bills are concerned. The yield on the 2, for example, has dropped 14 basis points since 7/30/14 and continued to decline after 8/11/14.

After the doubleheader on 8/13/14, there's the 3rd save yesterday, 8/14/14, also before the opening bell at around 9:00am. Here we are again right in that time zone. So, we'll see.

I'll also be watching the Dollar. Something's going on with the rapid range expansion for no apparent reasons. There's that mysterious spike at 2:30am and the gap-down at 8:30am followed by the swift reversal before the opening bell at 9:05am.

Norway got rid of some oversold today, so exited longs. Still possible that this was just a bounce-B in ABC-correction... or we have finished A-up and going down with B-down in a bigger ABC-bounce. Really not sure... but still favor the ~12 day bounce/shoulder topping late August. No lower low next week, but a higher low, and a last squeeze C-up late Aug

Traded in and out couple of times. Alright, here's putting in my last trade before the weekend. Bought my 97.63 Sep put back at 1.78. Stop near 97.63.

Not much going on. Didn't get the volatility expected in the closing hour. Out at 1.76 (-1%). Now that OpEx is over, volatility should return next week and make it another great week for traders. Ukraine? Yeah right.

Obscene.
