commercials got even more short. they did this before brexit. and had to sit and wait to run another scam to bring the market down to cover their shorts

what if le pen forces a run off

will not be good for the euro, which is toast sooner or later

Hmm.. as y'all know with the COT data, the commercials keep piling on the shorts until the price drops. Analysis of history shows it is not so much the total, but the speed (amount) with which they add (momentum, i.e RSI). Unfortunately for the bulls they are piling on the shorts (the other side of that trade, the hedgies are buying like crazy) and my COT trading system has given a sell signal.

Bulls beware! As discussed during the week, they are wrong perhaps once a decade, not something I'd bet on.

More on the bearish side of the teeter totter, A week away, Monday May 1st is the NUGT r-split date, with 100% history of price drops following.

4/2/13   1 for 5

8/20/13  1 for 10

10/1/15 1 for 10

8/25/16  5 for 1

5/1/17  4 for 1

The splitters should be locked up for the associated price manipulation.

For those long awaiting the "18 week cycle low" due at the end of this month, it is not what it is cracked up to be.
