I could quibble with you how the ABC wave 2 down is labeled but it really does not matter and I agree with you, the most recent i/ii, (i)/(ii) is really where the focus is and should be, if correct it implies a big three is unfolding, we see

way too much of a bounce to have a decent chance to be a 4 IMO in GDX and HUI, also GDXJ looks even worse as a possible 4. Now I can't sat it can't or won't go lower but these are "IMO" likely not wave 4 bounces - we see

was just looking at the SLV chart and the convergence of the downtrend line from the April 2017 high and then the recent rally high at 16.64. if prices can trade and close above 16.60-16.80 then I really like the chances for a massive breakout and rapid rise to 20, and da beat goes on

i believe it was 16 we had one day where the miners were up 25%   i like todays action=consolidation.   so far the pattern is constructive. 

the backdrop just keeps getting better and better for gold . by the way its quite unusual for rates to go up and the buck to go down.   

yes, we could be on the precipice of something quite large.   if 1 topped  1924 and if this is a 3 then we need to get over that # and not just by a little bit

at some point gdx boasts 3 digits.
