The market is being held up by the expectation that the Fed will cut the rate at the end of the month.  I'd wait for the Fed day to short the initial pop up assuming the Fed will cut the rate as expected, not now...............

Richmond Fed Unexpectedly Crashes To Lowest In Over 6 Years As Order Backlogs Disintegrate

After a handful of mixed regional Fed survey, moments ago the Richmond Fed printed for the month of June, and if it serves as a tiebreaker, then the US economy is deep in a recession.

Expected to rebound modestly from already a near-contractionary print of 3 to 5 following the recent euphoric Philly Fed print, the mid-Atlantic index instead suffered its biggest drop in two years, dropping by 14 points to a whopping -12, the lowest print since January 2013...

I don't use the HO because if the McClellan Summation is heading down (it is) & new lows are rising (they are), you don't need a signal to know the bull case is struggling. But this is a good write up https://www.sentimentrader.com//blog/200-reasons-why-the-hindenburg-omen-matters/  via @sentimentrader

Watch the RUT: if it stops lagging and outperforms the other major indices then the BULL will roar

Of not, then the bears will be feasting....

I think RUT closes UP for JULY.

OK, lunch is about over, back to the trading...

Banks rally and RUT can't stay green. Please don't give me your BS that the RUT is heavily financials.

Folks seem kinda bearish the RUT. Come on, vote!

I trade VXF which is mainly mid cap stocks.....Vanguard has the breakdown, but it follows IWM closely....  Financials 16%

Weekly data and the RUT be having some trouble for over 5 months now....  The weekly remains on a hold (long position) but I trade the daily and it went to a cash position several days ago....

Since I'm a trend trader I just trade what I see, not what I think will happen....  ( Currently Flat my VXF)  That is very close the S Fund in TSP.  The daily data is in a cash position and the weekly remains long. However, I trade the daily....
