I bet as soon as first quarter next year for weakness to show. layoffs after Christmas. we move towards long term global zero rates environment, and more and more CAPEX investments.

 

I have more conspiracy stories to write but i dun want to offend readers here.......

juz today hsbc announced 10000 layoff in europe. money saved will be driven to IT and automation. all banks i worked for doing the same.

 

i think other industry same but im not sure abt details.

Im v v v bearish ( yet I am shorting gold, and long sp). this is my last bearish post here and soon I will disappear.

 

I expect 2020 to be a disaster in markets. maybe .... even a major depression.

 

The current state of US trade war will end soon. but it is only the beginning of other forms of war initiated by the US and western allies.

 

Last week 70th anniversary of Chinese parade has only 1 theme " they are ready for war ". they have displayed many messages which otherwise would not be communicated. Also in the long chinese history, China has never witnessed a period of peace longer than 40-50 years. China's last war is in the 1970s. the last major asian power was Japan. But Japan didnt have the capabilities to hit western heartlands. This is the first time in human history that a Eastern power has the ability to strike back, and the will to do so.

 

this current dumbest trade war ever has proven that china is no japan.

slowing closing gold and sp positions i posted here. traded a lot more short gold and long multiple assets sp, dax, asia.....

 

will post when i close all long and shorts i posted here. i think by next mon to wed.

 

note that gold and usd down at the same time with strength. fear receding. money going back to assets and also asia markets.
