Looks like market may pull down GDX after all...
there are some ill winds blowing out there......could be a big gap down coming in the market at any time now....

i am taking the action over this period of time as. the market is seeing inflation/stagflation as miners costs are going to rise, thus pressing their bottom line. the market is seeing gold prices stagnate. thus there is pressure on miner prices. going back to the last period of stagflation miners kicked butt. gold/silver prices rose, if that happens then i think miners will be seen in a new light. right now the market is saying bottom line is going to suffer, that s my hit anyway its how i am interpreting the action

also gld hit 200 dma today. and is consolidating

Either bulls make their stand right about here, or they likely get run over...
See what happens dead ahead here...

interesting data comes out gold pops , next day it sells off. stuck in neutral
also if you take out food , energy , and rent there is no inflation . simple just stay away from those things and zoila there is no inflation

miners will need to make adjustments in their budgets costs are going up. they will figure it out. and of course rising metal prices makes their work simple

Has a feeeling when Gold lost 1793 last night, might be ugly today...looks to be shaping up that way, especially if this level gives way...
That ominous 2 hour throwover appears to be finally working its black magic...4 hour now throwing over as well.

And here are 3 and 4 hour looks...things looks to be finally getting in sync....unfortunately, looks to be down....
If gold climbs back above 1793 again, then reasonable likelihood bulls might make it stick, but in the meantime, could get a waterfall...
3 hour
4 hour
