The new ETF offers a way for investors to gain exposure to the crypto market without the challenges of directly holding crypto assets like Bitcoin and Ethereum.
BITQ seeks to track the Bitwise Crypto Industry Innovators 30 Index, designed with Bitwise’s industry expertise to capture “pure-play” companies engaged in actual, material activity in the crypto sector. Additionally, the index includes companies with at least $100 million of liquid crypto assets on their balance sheet.

Tesla suspends vehicle purchases using bitcoin
Elon Musk announced Wednesday evening that Tesla would suspend purchases using bitcoin due to CO2 concerns.
In the last hour Bitcoin has dropped 6.82% to $52,566.32 as of 6:15 p.m. ET.
Musk said he is looking for a more energy efficient option.
"Tesla has suspended vehicle purchases using Bitcoin. We are concerned about rapidly increasing use of fossil fuels for Bitcoin mining and transactions, especially coal, which has the worst emissions of any fuel," Musk tweeted out today
Meanwhile he forgot to mention that a great deal of the electricity to power his car will come from coal.
