Out for a 4 point profit.  Will sell higher...

One thing I am doing is buying back my sold August 4500 calls for a $14.20 profit as were in the teens now and adding to my already sold September calls at 4600 now for an average price of $7.25 now.  Still holding my sold September 4500 calls for an average price of $35.  We'll see what I do with those by Monday after expiration as I'll have new numbers.  No put selling just yet, want to see more of a pullback. 

 

As I wrote this starting my short build at 4441!!!

Was going to let my August 3800 puts go off the board but decided I'd take profits there to for $14.80.  Been a great cycle for selling premium $91.20 total.

Got my nice round number of an average short 4445 now, would love 4450 but good start!

Closed more QQQ PUTS & a few SPY PUTS bought yesterday & earlier today when SPY was actually up on the day! Did not open a second NQ HEDGE LONG as market dropped like a stone through several important resistance levels. 

PUTS were the stars today, followed by NQ daytrades and VXX CALLS

Many SPY & QQQ PUTS daytrades, took profits in some then added a few PUTS as markets zoomed to new ATHs

Good first week of AUGUST, great daytrading opportunities in a choppy & skittish  market with smaller intraday ATRs.
Added PUTS after taking profits on some, not large profits but managing trades to achieve NET GREEN in PUTS+ HEDGE LONGS. 
 
My biggest PUT positions & profits as well as occasional losses are usually in August & September.
Will add more PUTS & VXX CALLS above current  ES & NQ ATH
Will add more NAT GAS SHORTS above 4.18 and take profits below 4.05

Nope. Both NH and NL have to exceed 2.8% of Adv + Decl, which is ~92-93. Did not get

 

both of them there either day. Close, but no cigar.

 

BTW, 2.2% is wrong. Don't believe everything you see on Wikipedia.

After multiple tests 4330 gave way in #ES_F and level to level move here sold rapidly to my 4398-4392 next level down. Fairly important zone here. If bulls can't defend here we should finally begin a deeper correction 4335ish (50dma zone - vulnerable to fail) then 4300 below

Note: Some whipsaw here from release of the Fed minutes as we bounce back to that 4430 zone once again. All analysis still applies as long as we continue defending this support - if not 4398-92 remains next down
