Quiet, then panic. After more than a month w/o a 1% move, the S&P 500 has swung that much on 6/7 days. That's never happened before. It did swing > 1% on 5/7 days immediately after a period of calm once, Oct 18, 2018.

All aboard a derailed train. This week, speculators in major equity index futures bought aggressively, moving to a net long position of over $100 billion. That's nearly twice as large as any other position extreme, in either direction, ever.

Well this has been fun, with the site down yesterday couldn't post anything but did get my flip at 4580, woke up to a nice rally so taking profits at 4650 for a 70 point profit and starting my short build at 4650....

Although I shouldn't, profit stop at 4649, will sell above....

Oh and another gap on the cash S&P, never a good thing but I guess we'll see.....

Just like melt downs now we have melt ups so you need to increase your spans lol!!  Average short 4562....

12 SPY PUTS
CLOSED QQQ CALLS - must be the highest profit per CALL within 24 hours!

Good green Monday to start the week. Profits in NQ daytrading and 12 QQQ CALLS in LT Portfolio.
Strong reversal in NQ yesterday. 
 
Will start new SPY PUT position in Risk portfolio above QQQ 465. It is just below this in premarket trading
FEB and then MARCH PUTS, gradual accumulation, buying 2 to 3 instead of normal 5 lots
 
New ATH almost certain in December but markets setting up for a substantial decline later in December or in January 2022
 
 

Bought 5 QQQ CALLS February in LT PORTFOLIO
Will add more if market drops .... limit orders placed
 
Only NQ daytrades with occasional PUTS or CALLS. 
 
Great week, month after a few rough days in first half of Nomember
 
RISK OFF for rest of month & year , if that is possible with me sitting in front of a few screens of real time market data.

The market now is in over-bought conditions.   But watch out if a death case is reported with Omicron, the market may have to give back all the gains .......................
