Darn was putting in my profit stop and it got hit for a 5 point gain, gonna try for a sell again at 4690!!

Bears won that but can they hold the market below ES 4675?

Closed 5 QQQ PUTS  near low of day, just over $450. 

 

 

Stunned by this sharp drop in NQ! 

May close these QQQ PUTS, bank it in December has been one of my very beneficial trading rule!

all OPTIONS are FEB or later, IN THE MONEY, I pay the extra premium, lessons learned from more than 2 decades of OPTIONS trading

Will add more above QQQ 403 ... . and more above 406 etc 

Unhedged but will add extra lot to NQ long trades, I may open a hedge NQ long before market closes if I hold more than 15 QQQ PUTS

Most likely remain unhedged for a while

 

Will add to SPY PUTS above 472 ... and higher if traded

Bank that now, the PUTS will take care of themselves late in December or next year.

Losses in Unhedged 22 SPY PUTS as I built this position gradually during the day

Profits in QQQ CALLS, CLOSED ALL, just a few.

Fantastic day, huge NQ DAILY CANDLE, UP UP UP for most of the day. Trading is never easy but today NQ was quite enjoyable to trade, especially with unhedged SPY PUTS.

 Back to check the China open, no big deal, but good NQ drop, 2 or 3 trades until it gets tiring

Its well known December is bullish seasonally: Its green 70% of last 20 years, with every December since 2009 basically bullish with (big) exception of 2018. There is, *on avg* though, a short pullback/chop phase from Dec 6-early next week, before strength continues, underway now

While seasonality tracked perfectly since Sept, it stopped last week: Thanksgiving & after is on avg bullish and $SPX put in an odd worst Thanksgiving since 1940s Seasonals now bullish until Dec 6-8 when they dip before Xmas surge. Big test here if seasonality still live or not

Well that was to bad as my profit stop at 4675 overnight was hit for a 15 point profit.  If we continue up I'll start selling before the inflation data otherwise wait till after, kinda flat now.  Might be able to get 4700 in the end lol!!
