Europe's largest nuclear power plant in UKRAINE on fire after Russian attack- mayor

BORODYANKA/LVIV, Ukraine, March 4 (Reuters) - The Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant in Ukraine, the largest of its kind in Europe, was on fire early on Friday after an attack by Russian troops, the mayor of the nearby town of Energodar said.

There has been fierce fighting between local forces and Russian troops, Dmytro Orlov said in an online post, adding that there had been casualties without giving details.

Earlier, Ukrainian authorities reported Russian troops were stepping up efforts to seize the plant and had entered the town with tanks.

Russian forces attacked Europe’s largest nuclear power plant in Ukraine early Friday morning, causing a fire to break out at an adjacent training facility.

Ukraine’s nuclear agency says Russian military forces have taken control of the facility in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine.

 

As long as that holds, bulls still got a shot here...but they have to climb out over 2040 real soon.

Wish I had gone into the night session short after all but nonetheless after I saw the drop and found it was because of a nuclear attack,,,, I know I don't stare at the screen 24/7 lol, I do have a life lol!!  Anyhow,  I tried to get a long at 4285 but didn't get it so eventually did go for along at 4320 to hold it for a 10 point profit overnight so going into the employment I'm flat but willing to buy a long somewhere in here afterword I think.

Interesting, starting a long build at 4335 and will likely have to add to that at the cash open as I'm sure volatility will continue as it always does.... grind grind grind lol!!!

Well that was easy to get to an average of 4325.  Lets see how the cash open goes keeping things wide as I think volatility will remain wide....

Out for a few minutes to get a shower and my 4300 was hit bringing my long average to 4320 lol but just taken out with my profit stop of 4321 as I put it in so starting a new long at 4320....
