Looks like people don't like the number, average long drops quick to 4034 lol!!

So how many long contracts do you now have on, if I may ask?

Amazingly, both TLT  & UVXY are up after report; also USD YEN spiked and then dropped....

Will HOLD ALL LONGS, add HEDGE SHORTS, roll remaining NQ HEDGE SHORT

ADD LONGS  - mainly QQQ & SPY CALLS

Will start closing UVXY CALLS

Will HOLD ALL TLT CALLS

Will open ES & NQ HEDGE SHORTS

 

Basically, I want to be LONG on this plunge, add more LONGS as it declines, hedge but not as much as I normally --- will add more hedge short above ES 4K or lower if it crashes and I add more LONGS

Oh my that's far to personal.  I've been trading this market for 40 years so do have lots of reserves though lol!  My longest hold was short back in December, think it took 2.5 weeks to take profits adding a little everyday.  Pretty to calculate though, start a long or short then add cuts it in half etc etc.  Way easier to add to longs going down as its faster lol!!  Sometimes I add more at different spots to bring it down more.  An inflation report is not going to crash the market.  We are in a grind grind grind, volatile market.  The S&P could get down to 3500 through this but don't think it will be a straight line.  Scarier thing is for the shorts as buy programs can burn them badly here.  This is the best time for selling premium on options as the market is so volatile both ways and I predict its going to be like this for at least another 5 years as the everything bubble is deflated!!!  Average long 4026....

Sell on the rumor done.  Now buy on the news.  That's it for this CPI plunge.  So time to sell OTM puts.  Just sold some ES July OTM puts....................

Couldn't resist, average long now 4020, don't have a problem holding for over the weekend if I have to.  Key to the market is how the bond market moves, this has nothing to do with what the Fed is going to do as they are trapped now anyhow.....

Well there's a big gap down on the cash S&P I wonder when that 4017 level will be filled on the daily.....
