Starting hearing about this about a month ago. Apparently people are dying at much higher rate than normal. At first, I thought maybe that it was fear mongering for clicks, but now, I am not so sure. I know a person that died over the weekend from cancer at 42. Also, my wife's friends Dad just died in his 60's from a heart attack. He was otherwise healthy. We will all die at some point. The question is why our excess deaths so high right now?

Hmmmm yes more detail needed about their size and curious were they vaxxed.  We've had a couple healthy friends die about two weeks after they were which seemed to be quite a coincidence as other groups of friends also mentioned that.

The indicator has nevertheless dropped in seven Member States, and the largest decreases compared to June were recorded in Latvia (-7 pp), Estonia (-5 pp) and Lithuania (-4 pp).

The EU registered earlier major peaks in excess deaths in April 2020 (+25%), November 2020 (+40%), April 2021 (+21%) and November 2021 (+27%).

Please note that while a substantial increase in excess mortality largely coincides with the COVID-19 outbreak, this indicator does not discriminate among the causes of death and does not identify differences between sex or age.

In the USA the Covid cases have been dropping to 3/4 of what they were in Early July 312. However while Covid related deaths have been slightly increasing. July 5, 312 deaths to 507 Sept 19 deaths.

Effects of Long Covid? (It has been said to have adverse psychological effects.)

There's a 5 month lag, give or take, on those excess non-covid, non-drug overdose, "natural cause" deaths after vaccination pushes.

I believe that entirely. Americans (and our Canadian brothers) have not expeienced inflation like this for 4 decades.

The real inflation is 18% if they use same criteria they did before. That 18% is closer to truth based on what I am seeing in stores,

utility bills, medical bills, rents, etc. So yes, depression will become more prevalent.

My spouse has been treated with 60 chemo treatments, and 25 radiation treatments for cancer over almost 5 years.

If the 4 shots of covid vaccine did not kill her, I must conclude those vaccines are not as harmful as people think.

I am very healthy 82 year old male, and we both had 4 jabs starting in February 2021. Zero side effects for both.

And since the first jab we have done 6 cruises, 100+ restaurant visits and 150+ store visits. Never tested positive for covid and never had any symptoms.

COVID-19 and Suicide A Deadly Association

The Journal of Nervous and Mental Disease: May 2021 - Volume 209 - Issue 5 - p 311-319

COVID-19 hit the world amidst an unprecedented suicide epidemic in this century. As the world focuses on limiting the spread of the virus and prioritizing acutely medically ill patients, containment measures are not without mental health consequences. With rising anxiety and depression, risk of suicide—acutely and in the aftermath of the pandemic—also rises. This article aims to shed light on this major public health problem and better understand what factors may create or exacerbate psychiatric symptoms and suicide. We review suicide data predating the pandemic and examine impact of previous epidemics on suicide rates. We then focus on the current pandemic's impacts and the world's response to COVID-19. We examine how these may lead to increased suicide rates, focusing on the US population. Finally, we offer suggestions on mitigating interventions to curb the impending rise in suicide and the resultant increased burden on an already stretched health care system.
