Market Watch: ‘I lost over 21% in 2022.’ I’m 72, retired, and have worked with my financial adviser for six years. I know markets are down, but this massive loss is worrying. Shouldn’t my adviser have had a plan to manage risk at my age?

Advisers are reluctant to place you in predominently cash position even when the markets are in a bubble mode.

Right now everything is down, Stocks, bonds and soon real-estate and even gold.

2 hour Dow suggests you might turn out to be right.

 

But if 32k holds, and 33k gets taken out upside, as well as Rusty launching from 1800, then bulls might have a case to make here...

 

Absolutely HUGE pivot zone right in this area for the longer term.

 

Not planning on fighting it, whichever way it breaks from here...

 

Essentially it is either 1930, or 1988 here...and what happens this next week may very well determine that decision.
