Almost a 300 point range on the naz 100 this morning.

Good chart. As Kwave said it could take the Libor rolling over to REALLY get things going on the down side or perhaps an extreme spike in the Libor rate could cause it too.

I mostly do it for fun about 90% of my trades is selling premium on ES futures options, way more relaxing lol!!

yes, I may be heading toward that because I think I am going to have to retire or go on disability. so yeah, I need to get more conservative

So the CPI news was good?  The one caveat on this trade was the amature futures traders sentiment was quite bearish and may still be. Investors sentiment has been in the dumps but those people have not sold except for reducing some leverage. Still at a profit but my MO about half the time is to make a very good entry and half time exit when I should the other half hold on too long. At the recent bottom I thought we'd probably rally but I am trying to make this a longer term short. Tremendous complacency in the market. Just my guesses. Still waiting on that 180 point one day SPX decline :)
